This blog is to archive my exercises as I imitate the Strobist 101 and 102 curriculum. Strobist is run by David Hobby, where he teaches people how to light. There are also lessons I have picked on on Photoshop, and applications of lighting principles from either Strobist or other sources, such as John McNally's book the Hot Shoe Diaries.

Snoot
Used cardboard snoot (about 12", but 3 inches on flash) to highlight Kirk's eyes only. Darkness achieved through underexposing everything else.
