I saw the following post from the Neil vN site, and wanted to see if I could reverse process the photoshopping. There are bookloads to learn from his site.
I'm not going to bother with the removing of the pedestrians, but he says a secret he uses is to oversmooth the details, then combine with a lawyer where the local contrast has been boosted as well as saturation and detail, then some blending mode to put them together and you get a much more interesting photo.
