This is another family portrait from almost the same location as last time. The main difference is that the subjects were in the shadow while in the previous post they were in the sunlight. The subjects were lit with a bare flash on the camera, which served as main light and the ambient shade was fill. The photo below is from the earlier post using direct sunlight.
No post work was done to accentuate the background, but the raw conversion did raise increase the exposure of the photo.
This location, and a few others along the river would be perfect for sunset photos with the river and bridge in the background. I'll have to plan this on an evening when the sun sets before 8pm, as the parking lots are closed at 8pm.
