Without any EV compensation, it looks a little cloudy because of the overexposure. This could still be used though.
Here it is -.5. This appears about right to me, though you are losing out on the shadow halo that defines the righlight.
At -1 EV, it still looks pretty close and still usable.
at -1.5, you really only have a faint hint of the Halo, but the halo is decreasing.
One other option was to lower the flash intensity. Here it is lowered to -.5EV but leaving the camera EV untouched. The photo appears very good with a very soft light, but the fact that a ringflash imitation was used is not really obvious.
